Feature
Canvases
Build new content right inside your notebooks. Crunch numbers, write documents, or visualize ideas.
What is a Canvas?
A canvas is an editable workspace inside your notebook. Use it to create something new — not just store files.
Think of sources as your inputs (PDFs, websites, notes you’ve collected). Canvases are your outputs — the spreadsheets, documents, and visuals you build from that knowledge.

Why Use Canvases?
| Sources | Canvases |
|---|---|
| Read-only files you import | Editable content you create |
| PDFs, websites, documents | Spreadsheets, docs, visuals |
| Your research inputs | Your work outputs |
Canvases live alongside your sources in the same notebook. Reference your research while you build.
