This guide walks you through the fastest path to getting real value from Onsomble — creating your account, setting up your first Site, and running an initial discoverability scan across the major AI assistants. By the end, you’ll have seen how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity describe your business today, and you’ll have clear recommendations for what to improve.
1

Create your account

Sign up at app.onsomble.ai. You can use an email and password, or sign in with Google. Agencies managing multiple clients should sign up with an agency account — see Agency setup for details.
2

Add your first Site

A Site in Onsomble is the workspace for a single business website or brand. Enter your website URL and give the Site a name. If you’re an agency, this will be one of your client websites.
If a business has more than one brand or website, create a separate Site for each. This keeps discoverability data and workflows cleanly separated.
3

Ingest your website

Onsomble will crawl the pages of your website so it understands what your business does, what you offer, and who your audience is. This usually takes a few minutes.Ingestion is what lets Onsomble suggest relevant competitors, generate realistic prompts for scanning, and later, power your workflows with accurate knowledge about the business.
4

Set up your first scan

A scan checks how AI models describe your business, your category, and your competitors. You’ll be asked to confirm:
  • Competitors — Onsomble suggests a starting list based on your website. Review and adjust.
  • Prompts — realistic questions a potential customer might ask an AI assistant. Onsomble suggests a starter set. You can add your own.
  • Models — which AI assistants to scan. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity are all supported.
Run the scan. The first one typically takes five to ten minutes.
5

Review your results

Once the scan completes, you’ll see your dashboard populated with:
  • Citation benchmarks — how often you’re mentioned compared to competitors
  • Share of voice — how much of the answer your business occupies when it is mentioned
  • Sentiment — whether AI descriptions of your business are positive, neutral, or negative
  • Individual AI responses — the actual answers each model gave, so you can see what’s being said
Expect some surprises. It’s common to find that assistants don’t mention your business at all for the questions you care about, or that they’re describing you inaccurately.

What to do next

Your first scan is the starting point. From here, the next useful moves are:

Act on your recommendations

Onsomble turns scan results into specific guidance on what to publish and change to improve how you appear in AI assistants.

Schedule recurring scans

Set scans to run weekly or monthly so you can track whether your changes are moving the needle.
